Gasping?

Ok so this is a little slow and I've been wondering for a while, but better late than never. My son was born with TTN, which is fluid in the lungs that makes them breathe more than they should. We were in the hospital July 1st-4th and he was on moniters and all that not so fun stuff. But when I feed him, sometimes he stops sucking and makes gasping noises, almost like he just quit breathing. It makes me nervous though because I don't know what it is. It might have something to do with spending the first 3 or 4 days of his life breathing harder than he has to. I'm going to ask his pediatrician when we go in, I'm just wondering if anybody else has had this with their baby. It's my first so I have no idea. Thanks in advance.
