any suggestions?

I know I'm not due for another couple of weeks, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to naturally "induce" labor! The doctor said that she's almost 7lbs, and that everything is good and ready, but that legally he can't induce me until 39 weeks unless there is some medical problem! I'm so ready for her to be out! When I went in yesterday for my dr. appt, he said I was 2 cm. and 50% effaced. Help please!!!

There is no reason to induce labor if you are not full term and there's no medical reason. Your not going to be a positive response to this. Your baby will come when he or she is ready.

Your body will take care of things on its own. Sounds like you are off to a small start. Nothing you can do will induce labor. The baby wont come out until he or she is ready.

I was told that my son was ATLEAST 8.5 pounds and my due date was 4weeks away and so I had him early and he wieghed 6 pounds and had complicartions... the baby will come when it is ready... no need to go through early birth complications believe me

There are no ways to induce labor. Just be patient, and you're little girl will come when she is ready!

i had the choice of being induced at 37wks because of my kidney problem, but i am still choosing to wait it out... better to have a healthy, full-term baby than a small one that has to be hooked up to machines 

Firstoff there is no way to be 100% accurate about baby's weight until it's here. Mesurements, ultrasound, and anything else can be up to 2 or more lbs off. My doctor won't even make a guess due to this fact. I hate to say it but stick with it, the baby will come when it's ready and it may be that it's not fully ready yet. meaning lungs, kidney stc, may not be fully mature enough
