Than it was meant to be. It happened to me. I agree. What people need to realize is that when there is vote on an issue it will not just be on one specific law or issue. There will be several things rolled into one proposal, so many times a politician will not vote for something that may seem black and white because of a small detail. These small details are very important because they can ultimately be used to change past laws by getting issues brought up in a higher court. If that bill would have passed it would have opened a window to allow many of our reproductive rights to be voted on again.

I dont care what anyone says, there is no reason that an abortion should be allowed that far into a pregnancy unless there is a medical necessity and the mother will definitely perish if she carries the child further. I am disgusted that there are people that do this to their own children and even more disgusted that people in the medical profession will perform this horrid act. All I can think about is my son born at 7 months gestation, so tiny, so perfect and not alive. No one knows what I would have done to have my son born alive. These people are fucking vile. I am so angry, I am crying and shaking right now. I used to respect a woman's right to choose, but after seeing this video, I know that my opinion will be changing.

OMG. The end is making me bawl my eyes out. That's murder, if you don't think a baby is a living person until it takes it first breathe that is MURDER. Abortion alone is wrong on so many levels, but to leave a child to die is cruel. I seriously hope that they bring out a list of names of people who have done this both parents and nurses and I hope God shows no mercy. Disgusting.....just disgusting.

I agree with you. And the fact that I have a 14 year old daughter makes me realize that I will always be pro-choice.

This is a time where I disagree, at this point you are NOT infringing on womens rights but the living breathing child that is born. At this point the child has rights. Period.

What we are saying i sthat the bill was not black and white. This bills was NOT just about this issue. Most bills never are just about one issue. This was voted against becuase of the ramifications it would have on OTHER women's rights, not this one.

All I want to say is I'm 10000000000000000000000000000 percent pro-life and that video was just heartbreaking.

That was the point of the video-to play on your emotions-while dancing around the truth. I am sure the Republicans and/or Pro-Lifers paid an ad company big bucks to come up with that video.

Exactly. So instead of saying "Hey we Ruplicans voted to pass this bill with everything that it entails-including restricting abortions where a mother's life is at risk.But the Democrats shot us down."They cherry pick the facts and make a video on it to play on emotions instead of stating ALL the facts.

The video is gut wrenching.  

I'm not really sure what I am anymore.......pro-life or pro-choice. I guess I'm somwhere in the middle depending on the circumstances. 

This "abortion" video has nothing to do with abortion in my eyes. That child has been born. It is fully breathing and at that point it should be the job of the hospital staff to care for that baby and give it any medical treatment needed in order to sustain life. 

I have no opinion on either Presidential candidate right now either..even after seeing this. Of course essential information is left out to force us to see only what they want us to see but my opinion on this matter are solely about he act being done these poor babies. 


BC does not always work. My mother had all five of us while using some form of bc. Some condoms, some the pill and my youngest brother was concieved while her tubes were tied.Not only that but me and my sister both had a twin that did not make it AND she had a miscarriage!!!! That would have been 8 children without even trying! In no way am I saying she should have aborted us...any of us!..because I believe everything is for a reason as well..but it's not right to think that everyone has to belive the same as you do. So...although I'm confusing myself..lol, I'm just trying to say It's not okay to think that all women can choose how many kids to have by simply being on some form of bc. Ugh, make sense? lol Sorry, not sure if I went in circles......

I get that there are other issues however as a personal thought I cannot agree with infringing the rights of a living breathing human being. Regardless of anything else if Obama had been smart he would have said he didn't disagree with this at all, however this is why he voted against it. All you can find in regards to this bill is him saying he didn't want to infringe on womens rights. He never goes into how THIS bill applies to that. He isn't covering his own ass on that aspect. At least that I could find anywhere and that is the shameful thing.

the things that makes me mad about this video is that SHE played a part in all that she talked about but still refered to it as "they" did it. This video was made simply to deter you away from the democratic party. as what someone else said it was made to play on your feelings and not the entire facts. I want to punch that woman in the video right in her face. How can she act like she truly cared.. if she did she would have never worked for such a place. and this type of abortion needs to be exhiled or whatever word you would like to use. This is plain and simple murder. I have argued that all abortion is murder but for the simple fact that they lived breathed and could have survived pisses me off . She said they were issued a birth and death certificate. Then all of these parents need to be investegated for murder. If a mother was to induce her own labor on the street and leave her child in the dumpster and it was found dead she would be charged. to simply put it i am enraged.
