either it's not her 1st pregnancy or it's just plain old bloat. Most women get really bloated the first several weeks of pregnancy.

Is it her first? It's probably just bloating or if she already had a baby, just cruddy abdominal support from a previous pregnancy stretching her out.

At 6 weeks, you're usually just bloating. The uterus doesn't typically rise above the pubic bone until week 12-13, so any "showing" before that is just bloating.

I bet it's bloating as well. But if she is incredibly tiny and or on her second or later pregnancy, it would be possible...

It is more bloating than anything. Every woman is different, but 6 weeks is too early.Your uterus hasn't even passed the belly button.
I personally didn't start having an actual baby belly until 24-27 weeks. I know you start showing sooner after you bhave already had a baby.

I started showing at about 8 weeks. Not really "showing" but my clothes stopped fitting.

It wasn't so much my baby showing as the fact that I started eating for two (okay for 4 but lets keep that between us! ;) ). I just gained weight really quick.

Don't go busting her bubble telling her it's not the baby unless she is worried. We all want to start showing right away, it's just so exciting when we are pregnant, right?

I was showing right away, by yeah, like 6 weeks, ish. But I was just bloated. The day I found out I was pregnant, a little before I took the test, I couldn't get my normal jeans on!

No its not her first, she actully has miscarried four times this time included but thats why I asked to see if maybe that was why...because she starts showing to soon. She talked to doctors but none of them have really been able to tell her why either. I don't know its weird. I'm only five weeks and I know you get bloated in the beginning.

I was really bloated by 5 weeks, my doc even said my uterus was little big. Well I was showing at 10 weeks, no doubt but we found out that week we were haivng twins. Has she had an ultra sound yet? And because this is her 4th pregnancy she has a higher chance of twins!!!
