Did any mommies wear their contacts during their labor?  I'm guessing you would have to take them out if you had to have a C-section, but I'm not sure (nor have I checked yet) if my hospital will allow mothers to keep their contacts in.

Opinions/experiences/comments would be helpful!  Thanks.

I really hope I'm allowed to wear mine! I hate glasses!

i was determined to wear mine, b/c I didn't wanna have glasses on in pictures, lol and they let me, I didn't even have to beg, the nurse just asked if I was wearing them and I said yes and that was it, I think she needed to know in case of a c-section, then you would have to take them out, but other wise your fine!  

Mine were bothering me, so i took them out and put on my glasses.

I wore mine and wished I didnt. (I have dry eyes anyway) My eyes/contacts got so dry that I couldnt even see.

I eneded up having my husband go home and get my glasses right after. I will def. be wearing glasses this time.

They let me wear mine during my c-section.

I took mine out because I was in labor overnight and they were bugging me. They also asked right before my C-section, so they probably would have made me take mine out.
