Zoe has 8 teeth now and two coming in! shes alittle munchie thats for sure, anyways ive always used a finger brush on her gums and teeth. She loves it. I have been putting the toothpaste cap where your finger goes because i dont trust those teeth and shes bitten down acouple times!

Another question i have that is relevant, what do you do/tips to stop them from biting?

They have finger tooth brushes, you slide it on your finger. I really liked them.. Very soft rubber. They usually come with a flavored tooth and gum cleaner for young ones. You can also use a damp cloth until he gets more teeth, or until you get him a soft tooth brush.

They have a baby gum and teeth brush you can use. You can put it right on your finger so you can get the back of their gums too. It's rubber so it doesn't really hurt if baby bites you

I just used a wash cloth until moving to an actual tooth brush.

As far as biting, you just have to figure out what your child respons to the best. Sometimes a stern "no bite" works well. My daughter would cry when we told her that. (She's always been really sensitive about getting in trouble). You could also try letting out a scream or yelp to let her know it hurts. I hear a lot of babies think this is funny though.

i strongly believe you souldnt 'punish' babies. But i do believe in detering bad behaviour..i just need to find a really good way to do it. Zoe bit me once and drew blood and it hurt so bad that i said no to her loud and she cried. I never touched her or jerked her i guess my face was just angry. She got a hug after that, and she still bites..but shes alittle sweetie and she is always good.

well i would never "punish" him as a baby.. but i dn't know how long he is going to be a baby. he has part of his brain missing so im really scared to get on to him because i don't know how he thinks if that makes sense.

We tried the "finger brush" thingy, it reminds me of the ones we have for the critters. But we picked this up for Khym, now he "brushes" his own teeth, and soothes his teething problem. http://www.bosom-babies.com/angel_toothbrush.htm

But I don't know if Conner would be able to use it or not. But you should still be able to use it on him your self.
