August Baby Shower Mommies....

Only 3 more days till the Baby Shower  I am getting super excited, even though my fam. and friends back home will not be able to be apart of it we are still going to be having a great turn out! It looks like around 16-20 adults and some kids! It is going to be a Metro Shower with the ladies and the gentlemen so it should be tons of fun  How is everyone's shower plans going?!?! And if you have already had it...How was it and what was your fav. thing you got and ha ha not so fav...lol?!!!!!"NOT TO MUCH LONGER" Mommies...YEAH!!!!!!

My shower is the 23rd (so my friends can come before the semester starts) and I'm sooo excited! 30 people RSVPd, my mother-in-law ordered decorations to match Leah's colors for her side of the room (sage green, white, pink), and picked out some really cute games, and is even having it catered! I feel like it can't come fast enough.

I had three cuz my family and friends are not by me  

I grew up on the other side of the state so my fam threw me a big one there so my friends could come too!

Then my work threw me one at olive garden
and my boyfriends family through me one last weekend.
I think I am now more than ready to push this baby out of me. All we need to buy is a little baby powder! (somehow, through all of those.. we didn't get any!!!)

same here mama, I can't wait for my baby shower this coming saturday. So excited. Plus i might get my crib this friday so it should give me a headstart. yayyyyyy for us.

I'm actually due in November but we're getting my baby shower out of the way so we can set up just in time for Aarika's arrival. :].
My mom is planning everything, I actually have no say in anything! It's all a surprise. Which is fine with me, because I trust her judgement. :].
I got to invite who I wanted to be there, though. Looks like about thirty people will attend. I'm super pumped! :].

my shower is August 29th! Im so damn excited about it, i havent been this excited in years... I invited about 80 people or so, having it outdoors at a park with a pavilion (incase it rains) .. it also has a kitchen and bathrooms. Im having it co-ed and children invited too.. AHhh i cant wait ! I wish it was sooner!

My shower is Sunday! I'm execting about 35-40 people with a few children and I am VERY excited. I am also lucky enough to have another shower/lunch next Sunday that my friends from out of town are throwing me! It seemed to make much more sense then having them all drive here. (It's about 3 hrs away)

My Mom and Aunt are hosting it for me and as soon as I get Thank You gifts taken care of I'll be all set to go! I cant wait to get gifts for my little Nugget. I am so excited.

I just had my shower a few weeks ago ... in mid-July .. now I'm just waiting on Baby!

I just had my shower on the 10th. It was AMAZING. We sent out 90 invitations and 80 people showed up. I was so happy with the way my family decorated our hall and I think my favorite gift that I got was a tie between the new Medela hands-free breast pump and the Graco Deco Travel (Stroller-Car Seat) set. Enjoy your shower because all the planning and stressing you do over it, it goes SO fast! If it wasn't for the pictures I had, I would have forgot most of it. LOL.

You'd be surprised. I only thought maybe 30 would show but boy was I wrong. I bet atleast 65 of the 80 will come. Turns out women love baby showers. LOL.

Haha- i cant wait for mine! I hope i get the big stuff. I already have the swing and pack and play... now i just need the Graco seat/stroller combo, breast pump.. stuff like that. My sister in law is already buying us the crib and possibly the bedding.. My bedding is more expensive then the crib- haha.. go figure!

Mine is this wknd in my hometown and another one next wknd here in Columbus BUT the bedding we picked out has been discontinued and they only have one set left....soooooo should I buy it myself or just pick out something else? Or wait until after the shower and see what happens? The good news is there is one more style that I like, but Kyle is not as crazy about it as the original plus it costs more...

I'd buy it and keep the reciept and if you get it at the shower return the one you bought! That way you def. get the one you really wanted
