For those of you that don't know me in may i lost my son there was no heartbeat and they had to induce labor so i could have my stillborn baby boy well they said there pretty sure that it was becasue of a deformity that is like a millon in one chance of happening in his cord and it was so thin that it got kinked for too long...so they ran all kinds of test to make sure nothing else could have caused his death then they ran a whole bunch of test on me to make sure it wasn't anything wrong with me well my doctor called today after like a month in a half of waiting for all my test results to come back.. they told me that everything came back good but when i get pregnant again as soon as i know i am to start taking a baby asprin once a day
I'm just wondering if anyone else has heard of this or done this?
Doesnt it thin your blood?
I also heard that it is really bad to take asprin when pregnant and it can increase your chances of bleeding and stuff ?
Just wondering what this is for and if anyone else has had to do this?
thanx

I have a friend that does because she has a problem clots. She's lost 4 babies due to clots in the umbilical cord.
So yes, I've heard of it.

I'm sorry about your loss I can't even imagine.
I think if you trust your doctor, take his/her advice but if not, seek a second opinion.
