OMG I'm going through the same thing!!!! I haven't been to the doctor for 2 MONTHS because of Medi-Cal!!! I can't get anyone to see me without a number. I am so stressed out about it. My worker just happened to be new and screwed EVERYTHING up. I turned everything in that they required on the first day I went in there and I had to go back like 7 times to take stuff she already received from me! Last Saturday I received a letter of DENIAL from them. I almost lost it. I called on Monday and she said ignore the letter...I received it because she went past the 45 days to file my case which generated the letter. I swear to god, if anything is wrong with this baby because I couldn't get in to see the doctor, they will have hell to pay! She gave me a CIN number which doesn't help at all....still can't see the doctor with that number. So here I sit waiting for the mail every day in hopes that my card is there. I haven't even had my glucose screening done yet AND I'm high risk! They just don't care :/ I feel your pain :/

Wow, that sucks. I dont have my Drivers License but to get an ID we just take our birth certificate, when they call ur number u just get up and take the pic and they give u the ID. But if it makes you feel any better, when I had my first real appt. I was like 17 wks already and they just did a pap smear, checked my boobs and listened for the babys heartbeat and they took some blood. Just buy prenatal vitamins so u can start taking them already.
