NO POOP!

Aden has not pooped in like 2 days!
he is only 6 days old....so is this normal or no?!

is he breastfed?

yup pretty normal.  lydia went from day 2-7 without a poop

We've been having this problem with my daughter just recently we took her in cuz she went 4 days and was not happy about it. The doctors said as slong as she was passing gas she's fine and because shes breastfed she can go a week to10 days with out pooping!

I don't know about a formula baby...can't hurt to call the pedi and ask what they think  

Yes it's normal. As long as baby is not screaming when having a bowel movement you're okay. My son went 5 days without having a BM.

your ped will prolly tell you to give her a tablespoon of karo syrup per 4 oz bottle. works wonders.

if you breastfeed thats completly normal! my son didnt have a bowel movement for like 4 days right after he was born... and his pedi said its because there is hardly any fiber in breast milk... you should be giving breast feed babies liquid multivitamins...
