A Scary Thought

The doctor told My Sister n Law & Myself that The babys weight takes after their fethers weight at birth. I always asked my bf how much we weighd but he never seemed to know the answer. i only weighed around 4-5 pounds at birth && My tummy hasnt got that big, So i just figured we would have a small baby. Untill My mother n law told me he wieghed 10.6 pounds almost 11!!! Omg

I was 6lbs 5ozs, Mike was 7lbs 4ozs and Mason was 7lbs 1oz so yeah he was closer to Mikes weight.

I was a 9Ib baby, my husband was a 6Ib baby and our little one weighed in at 7Ibs even!!! You just really never know  

my bf was about 8 pounds when he was born and i was 6 pounds 13 oz but my daughter was only 4 pounds 13 oz.

that can't be true my sons father was 10 lbs when he was born and my baby boy was only 5lbs and 12 oz

that scares me because my boyfriend was almost 10lbs and he was 3 weeks early!!

my hubby was somewheres around 6lbs when he was born, and noah was 6lbs8oz....but also 3 weeks early....so ya he would have been much bigger had he been full term....nate is also 6'2 so he's abig guy so i was a little afraid to have his babies (im 5'3), but we'll see what this one is

mine told me that it's based off of your weight when you were born because it's all about what your body can handle. i was 7 lb 15oz and my husband was almost 10 lbs and our baby was 8 lb 1 oz.

I was 9 lbs 4 oz. and my Boyfriend was 8 lbs 14 oz. so i hope my baby is at least 9 lbs!!

Not true either way for me. Daniel was 8lb 14oz. and I was 8lbs. 8oz. and our son was only 7lbs 4oz full term. Which was always weird because I quit smoking when I was pregnant and my mom and MIL didn't with us.

*uh-oh* if it's the opposite case where the baby takes after Mommy's weight I think I may have a 9 pounder on my hand.
Daddy was barely 6 pounds, I was 9 pounds. I'm scared now..

I was 6 lbs, the hubby was almost 10 lbs, and our little one was 8lbs 11 oz. So that does seem pretty true. Especially since hubby was 2 weeks late, and Caleb was 2 weeks early. I don't want to think about how much he might have weighed if he cooked a little longer.

not sure if thats true i was born 6 pound 12 onze and my fiance was 6 pound 10 onze my son was 6 pound 14 onzes =]
