Bebe Sounds any advice

Well I wenttoBabies R Us andbought one of the Bebe Sound prenatal heart listeners so that way I could hear my baby's heartbeat and not have towaitfor the nextappointment. Alsoreading about all the different things that can happen tobabies whytheyare in your tummy and so many different stories I have read on here have just scared me. Anyways I am about 27 weeks and 3 days, but I really cant hear the heartbeat at all. Have any of you mama's used one of these or when did you start to hear the heartbeat good or do they just flat out a piece of crap? I really want to know thank you for the advice!!!!!

i didnt hear his heartbeat with the bebe monitor until 2 weeks ago! 30 weeks.
and it wasnt that clear... so dont worry lol

I bought one of those and couldn't find the heartbeat with it, neither could my Dr. so I returned it.

I could NEVER find his heartbeat....and I tried hard too! I read lots of reviews online and it seems lots of people couldn't hear anything, and if they could, it wasn't until near the end.

So they are really not worth the money, because they are expensive???

i have one and it hasn't worked for me yet. a friend of mine used one too and she couldn't hear anything the whole time she was pregnant.

I borrowed mine.....so I didn't have to spend any money. But you may have luck who knows

I don't like it much I think I heard the babyies heart one time so far with that thing and I think that was at 20 weeks. the thing picks up any movement the cord makes or your hand

We bought one when I was preg, but couldn't ever find the baby's heartbeat...and I'm an RN ...I wouldn't recommend it. There was a lot of background noise with it, it seemed to pick up everything but the heartbeat!

I hate that thing. i doesn't even work until well into the 3rd trimester, at least that's what happened for me and everyone I know that has one. And you have to make sure there is no sound coming from anywhere else. Good idea, poorly made.

Thank you for all the replies I took it back after getting on the website and finding out how bad the product was. And yea it is a great idea but poorly made!!!!

I had better luck finding his heartbeat around 30 weeks with a regular stethoscope. IMO it was a piece of crap, LOL.
