Camera

Has anybody bought a digital camera for a child? My daughter will be just about 4 yrs old when my son is born and i want to get her a camera i think. I'll give it to her when she comes to the hospital to see him for the first time. Im trying to keep her very involved and not feel like she is getting pushed to the side. I think a camera would be good so then she can take pictures of him or whatever she wants to. She wont be in every picture so she will still feel involved because she can take pictures that she isnt in. ANYWAYS . . . . . The real reason that i am writing this is to ask . . . .Have any of you purchased on of theses cameras? Do you like them? Anything you didnt like about them? I dont know which one to get her.

I think that would be a great idea since it's the ones made for kids. She will love taking pictures of her new baby brother.

edited to add; you have to teach her to be very careful with it though.

My sister in law got one for my nephew for Christmas last year and he loved it for about a week. Once he got bored with it I dont think he has picked it up again. But it held up very nicely for that week.

it won't let me see them for some reason but if its the one i think is is by fisher price my mom got both of my neices onne for easter and one of them just turned 2 and the other is 3

Yah she will be. She is a very responsible child. She takes care of her stuff. But the cameras that im looking at are made kid tough.

So are the pictures clear? Is it worth the money? I dont want to spend money on one and then the pictures are horrible. Also, are they easy to use? I mean i know i could work it but are they easy enough for a kid to use?

My nephew didnt seem to have any problems playing with his. The pictures on the back are not clear at all. But I am not sure what they looked like pulled off the camera, they could have been clear.

oh really? hhmmm Im gonna do more research to see how the pics come out after.
