First Baby!?

Well I'am pregnant with my first baby and due on September 1st. I have a c-section scheduled for August 26th. I've also been having strong menstrual cramping feeling thru out the last couple of weeks. What do ya'll think my chances are of making it to my c-section date? Would you think that if I go into labor before that that they will still do the c-section? (c-section is for medical reason)

well if you are having a csection for medical reasons, they will most likely still do a csection.

My friend was suppose to go this am at 730 for her c-section and last night after eating dinner her water broke, she went to the hospital and 2 hrs later they did the c-section.. and if the c-section is medical reasons im sure they would still do it
