frustrated

hello all, so anyway i have had this appt schedualed for my 18wk ultrasound today for like 6wks, my drs office called yesterday and told me that i had to reschedual cause their ultrasound tech was sick all week, i think its dumb they didnt call me earlier but whatever, anyways. a girl i work with her mother works at an imaging company( x-rays and ultrasounds) and i set an appt with them today, i guess they told me i need a "order" from my doctors office to get it, i didnt get to ask the office last night cause they closed and i am now waiting to call,them. i have been waiting for this day forever, i just wanna know what my baby is, i wanna know if i can call my baby a he or a she. anyways does anyone have a clue if you think my dr will have a problem writing an order so i can go to an outside source to get my u/s done? i just need to ease my mind, i have an hour before i can call when they open, i feel like i am crazy but i have been waiting for this for a while  . thanks all and have a wonderful day
