Found the coolest chart for checking your weight gain!

posted 11th Aug
Here it is....it uses your pre-preg weight and height to figure your BMI and shows you where approximately you should be for weight each month of your pregnancy. Been looking for something like this!

I think it's just supposed to be a general indicator...hon if your doctor is not worried, and your baby is healthy, then you shouldn't be depressed. This chart, I believe, is not for someone with what you have....hypermesis(?)....

lol if i had had this chart at the BEGINNING of my pregnancy it would have helped. My doctor would never tell me how much he wanted me to gain. he'd just tell me that i was gaining too much. pfft.

you didn't accidentally calculate on the metric side instead of the english side, right? that's the only reason i can think of- cause you do not look obese in the least. if YOU are obese then sheesh almightly i think we've got problems with the way we view the human body.

OP- i liked this site! i AM in the obese category (rightfully so- i was losing weight like crazy before getting pregnant, but i wasn't to my goal yet) and my recommended weight gain was 19 lbs. thankfully i'm within that right now. made me feel happy.   there's hope to start losing weight again, quickly after she's born! that's encouraging.
