I will be using a sling when I have my baby. I think they look more comfortable then the baby carriers that you wear the baby like a backpack on your stomach

you can make your own for much cheaper but i recomend using one, it calms them down so much faster n its really easy to carry them around.

There are hotslings (which I highly recommend) on there that are a lot cheaper than you will find in stores or online. I got mine for 25 bucks (w/ S&H) for something that would have cost me $40-60 elsewhere.

I use a moby wrap and it is awesome for newborns up to 2 year olds. Super comfy and so worth the 40 bucks. Check out www.theslingstation.com
They have tons of different slings to look at and order and videos on how to use them

I highly recommend Hotslings! I've tried the backpack style carrier, and my son hated it. Target carries them if you want to check them out. I wish that I knew that before I bought mine, so I could have tried them on. I wound up buy two over the internet! The first one was a little too small even though I went by their chart.
