how soon did u....

How soon after having baby did you wait to have sex. I know the dr said 6 weeks...but did anybody do it before then...?
How soon? and were there any consequences?

We waited 4 weeks~ I had an episiotomy, but I didn't really have any pain~ which is what I was worried about, but as you will seem everybody is different. (I never asked my Dr,I figure I would know when I was ready better than he would)

I think 5 weeks...and no nothing happened.

We waited about 5 weeks for sex, but we did fool around before. I think as long as any stiches you had healed, you should be ok. Just listen to your body. If you don't feel ready, then don't. If it hurts, then stop. A DR can give you a time frame, but everyone heals differently. I have heard of people doing it 4 days after delivery.

Ok... I know this sounds messed up but 5 days after my daughter was my wedding ann. & so my mom watched her for the night. We ended up having sex, it had been like 2mos. & was a total in the moment thing...I know CRAZZY! Anyways the next day I was trippin & called the Doc. he said not to worry but dont do it again, I could end up preggers (but not that soon)& I needed time to heal.

sounds awful... but we waited 8 days. obviously we were gentle (i had a c-section and they told me 8 weeks)... i guess at least i got the number right?

I have no desire for sex LOL!! I told my boyfriend to watch some porn haha!!

I waited about 3 1/2 weeks with both kids. I had episotomy with first one BUT with this one I did not so I had no problems at all. Course I go to my 6wk PP visit tomorrow, so if any problems I will let you know! FYI, after my first baby when I went to my 6 wk PP the dr said nothing to me about it/

3.5 wks... I still had stitches in me... n we were about to like a week b4 that but I got nervous n he said he wasnt tryna hurt me so we waited.. n wen we did it like I said I still had stitches dangling outa me.. it hurt a lil at first... tender.. but It was all GOOD!!  If you feel comfortable go for it.. but take it slow!!

With my last pregnancy, after my son was born I had a period that lasted WEEKS! I'm guessing this is normal, did anybody else bleed?
Also is one has a c-section does one bleed too?

Yes, I had a C-section and I bled lightly for 2 or 3 weeks.

As for sex, it's been 6 and a half weeks and we still haven't done it yet. My husband is terrified of getting me pregnant again. Today was the last day of the 7 day waiting period after starting the Pill, and he doesn't have any free time until Thursday. So we'll see what happens ...
