Hello ladies. I am thinking about circumcision. I think that I want to do it for health and religious reasons. What are your thoughts and opinions?

I have been told horror stories about not circumcising and about circumcising. Yes I know what each penis looks like circmcised or not. Circumcision is prettier, but is it a smart decision to do it to my boy?

I think its really a personal choice. There are so many factors to consider. Just think about what will be best for him, pros and cons.

I got Tait circumcised. I did months of research and decided it was best for him. I understand that the foreskin is there for a reason, and I understand that I put my son through pain. But I am ok with that, and our decision to circumcise.


It is ultimately your decision, but I would do it again if I had another boy.

I personally say yes, there are complication that can occure later on and i definitly dont want to have to circumsize my 10 year old  

Only you can make that decision.

If you've studied up on it, then you know what will be best for you and your son.

As for me...we didn't have Gabriel snipped.

I didn't my son, hes 6 now... Through my research, I just couldn't subject him to to pain....

I plan on having my boy circumcised. I believe he'll be glad I did when he's older.

my husband totally put his foot down on this one from the get go lol...and i remember the first time i saw a un cut penis and i laughed (i was like 15 lol) so yeah

i'm circumcising my boy, if he ever gets here! lol, It's a personal choice whether you want to or not, I've read so many different "benefits" and "non-benefits" for each and I personally thought circumsing was the best choice for me and my little guy, plus i want him to look like his daddy, lol

personally i say yes as well. it has its benefits for health reasons but also alot of women get their son's pee pee snipped back because its what dad does .... for some reason guys like their sons penis to look like their own - dont ask me why. but when my fiance and i were making the decision he almost flipped out because he thought i shouldn't have even had to ask because he's circumcised lol (anybody else realizing that guys are more emoional during a pregnancy than the one carrying the child?)

I am having to recircumsize my one year old on friday because we had to wait too long to do it after he was born because he was in the NICU, and some of the skin grew back together. If you do it, do it right after they are born.
I suggest it and I am the mother of two boys. You have to pull even circumsized skin back really far to clean it. I cannot imagine trying to teach a six year old or a ten year old to pull their foreskin all the way back to clean themselves every time they use the bathroom or shower, and they really do have to or they can get serious infections.

Painful, permanent, medically unnecessary surgery on an infant who can't understand why it's being done. No way.

I think I will plan on circumcising my little boy. I have looked at both sides. But I really wanted to know how everyone felt. I think that it is up to the mother though.

My SO is not and neither is our son, we did not want to subject our son with such pain and we didnt find it to be medically necessary so we didnt do it
