Anyone ever use this for ttc?

I know its used mostly for period, even though I've never heard of it. Although now I'm kind of interested if its as comfortable and easily placed as everyone says. If you've used softcup for ttc OR for your period, let me know.

I've tried these for my period, but it never worked for me. It's easy to put in, and it holds the blood alright, but when you try to take it out everything spills and it gets pretty messy.
But I think it would definitely work for TTC because it DOES hold things there.
It will keep the sperm in place helping it to go where it needs to go.
I think it's worth a try, good luck  

Hey, i used this for TTC, i know someone else who did too. It didnt work for either of us. To be honest i was just annoyed i wasted $15 on it lol.

The first time the damn thing kept slipping out, even though i inserted properly. It was just very messy. The second time it stayed in fine and was comfy enough, albeit a bit strange! It was pretty gross taking it out though.

IMO this is no different than keeping your bum on some pillows for 30 mins after BD. By putting it straight in, you could actually be blocking alot of sperm from getting through the cervix if you dont catch it all in the cup. Just not something i would risk, i just dont feel comfortable interfering with the spermies. Instead we got pre seed to help them swim, and do the pillow thing.

Good luck whether you choose it or not. Do come back and let us know if you get a BFP using it!!

Its a sperm friendly lubricant. Normal lubes kill and immobilize the majority of sperm in the ejaculate so make it harder to conceive. Pre seed is just like fertile cervical mucus, so it helps the spermies swim through the cervix and up the tubes to eggy.

Only down side is that its $15 ($20 here) for 6 applications (its an internal applicator to get it right at your cervix). But, you only use it on the most fertile days, so it should last 2 or even 3 cycles. This was our first cycle using it (month number 6) so im hoping it will work!

You can also buy it on ebay in packages with ovulation kits and preggo tests, so its pretty good. There is alot of success stories with it too

I will. I figure it's $5, it's not like all miss the money if it doesn't work.

My fiance thought it sounded messy when I told him about it. I was thinking that maybe it wouldn't be as messy as it sounded. It can't hurt to try it.

lol K, I'm getting my sometime next week. I've never seen softcups in stores so I had to order mine off the net.

I used to work at walgreens and knew they had them there... I've never seen them anywhere else. Although I'm about done wasting my money on this crap! I just went pick up my progesterone pills and omg it was 60 bucks! not to mention my prenatals are 45! I'm so over this TTC crap! It's not even funny. I mean, its not breaking me, its the principal I've been doing this for 7 loooong months and wasted all this money and nothings worked! Sorry I vented

I feel you on that! especially when most get preggo without any of this at all. Im beginning to think, when its time its time. Certain positions or weird ideas like softcup wont affect a hpt either way! only reason i use pre seed now is because i dont get ewcm, so it is logical. Other than that, im done with the 'extras'!

I'm beginning to think its all a bunch of bull crap just looking to take our money because women are so desparate for kids, they'll do and spend anything. Some of these things probably prevent us from conceiving!

Yeh i think so too. Its always vulnerable people they market to e.g. those with incurable illnesses,or desperate for something

I think the cup could potentially block spermies from getting in. I have i think at least one left from the pack, but to be honest i wouldnt wana go sticking my hands up there and messing with the sperm. It knows how to do its job, thats its sole purpose after all!! And if it cant swim, well no little (actually its pretty big!!) cup is gonna help. The majority of sperm die quickly after the man ejaculates, and you only want the healthiest spermies to get through so you conceive a healthy pregnancy. I dont find the positive reviews on that site genuine, and i havent heard much about it elsewhere.

I think the only thing that can help conception is for both persons to be healthy and to have sex at the right time. Im wondering if even the cushion thing is pointless too, i mean girls get preggo having all sorts of crazy drunken sex!
