I wish I could slap him...!!!

When our daughter was born, she was 5lbs 11oz. She was born a few weeks early, but was completely healthy. There were no problems with her whatsoever.

So how come I'm finding out 18 months later, that my husband told his bosses wife that I didn't eat right and that's why our daughter came out so small & that itupsets him when he thinks about it???

It pisses me off because he's pretty much blaming me for our daughter being born tiny. HE was the one that kept stressing me out on the damn phone and made me start contracting and dialting at 6 months. I wasn't able to keep ANYTHING down in the first trimester and some of the second. WATER wouldn't even stay down. I went from 135 to about 118. By the time I deliveredour daughter I weighed 135 again. So I didnt gain alot AT ALL during my pregnancy. THAT WASNT MY FAULT. I went to the dr, I took the pills, I ate whenever I could. I snacked when I could. He wasn't around, he didn't know what the hell I put in my mouth...how dare he blame me for our daughter being small at birth. I sooo wish he were here right now so I could throw that shit in his face and then slap him. AND THEN HE WANTS ANOTHER BABY?? WHY? So he can blame me for whatever happens with the next baby?

My friendasked me not to tell my husband, that she told me what he said (that make sense?),because she doesn't want him to not like her because of it. My husband is the type of person, that if you piss him off once, your automatically on his shitlist. I want to say something to him sooo damn bad, but I think I'll save it for a rainy day.....Sorry, I just needed to vent. If your going to comment please don't talk bad about my husband, yes I vent because he pissed me off but I still love him and he's still my husband.

LOL THANK YOU! I dont know if I should say something to him? I KNOW that if I do he'll not like me hanging out with my friend. Whose old enough to be my mom by the way, she's a NICE lady. She's been a mil.wife for awhile and has a lot of knowledge and advice. I think she's cool even though she's old enough to be my mom.

Men are dumb. No one cares what they think about pregnancy or takes them serriously when they talk out their asses. Unless your husband is an OB don't pay him any mind. Maybe he was just trying to participate in a conversation and came out with that line of bs. Don't bother bringing it up if he felt it was a concern he sounds like the kind of guy who would have said something to you about it.

hmmm i would be pretty pissed.... my lizzy was only 6lb and 14 oz and she was a week late.... some kids are just born small...

Slap em girl..lol Both of my babies were 6 lbs. 10 ounces, every baby is different and not all women will have big babies. I don't think my kids weight had anything to do with lack of eating because I ate pretty healthy with both after the first trimester. The most important thing is your baby is healthy.
