My baby has to have surgery

Well, about a week ago I noticed Jake had some swelling around his "boy parts". He had been fussy so I called his dr. and ended up taking him to the emergency room. He ended up having a hernia and we had to meet with a surgeon. They want to operate asap, so its set up for August 29th- the day after his first birthday. Its not supposed to be that bad, but its still surgery. Please pray for him girls, I love my little Jakers! I am going to have to reschedule his birthday party- we are still going to have family over and cake and everything on the 28th. Ugh...my poor baby.

Mine has had two surgeries all ready, with 2 - 3 more to go.

I really like the doctor doing his surgery, he seems to know what hes doing/talking about. I googled everything to double check things he said. haha
Hopefully it doesn't take them long, I am more worried about them puting him under.

I hope everything goes well! I know I'd be a nervous wreck.
my brother had to have that surgery recently but he's 26 yrs old, everything went fine though. Just know your little one will be in pain afterwards.

They said they are going to put him on tylenol 3 w/ codine for 3- 5 days. He is so active, I worry about him hurting himself. He runs everywhere and has started climbing too. Hopefully his medicine will make him sleepy so he can heal.
