Update!!

We had madisons baby shower on satuday and got tons of stuff.

Now on to the good stuff. We went and saw madison on sunday. I was there for her 6pm feeding. She did not do well at all. And whats even worse is she was wearing the same outfit i put on her friday. Honestly i was already pissed about this. Then we noticed she had snot coming out of her nose. WTH. she was not like that on friday and burgers were all all the tape under her nose. It was so digusting. So we cleaned her up and got the snot out of her nose the best we could and changewd her clothes. At least she was clean. Then we tried feeding her. It didnt go as well as we would have hoped and i know its because she is sick and i have an idea of how this happened.I had heard that the baby next to us was sick. So..im thinking thatas how she got it. She is now 4 pounds 5 oz

Im just really worried at her being sick. The whole time she has been fine.

im thinking about it. i know that was the same outfit i had her in. Because i dressed her that day. All the nurse did was put the long sleeved shirt under the short sleveed one. i changed her and cleaned her the best i could. I even changed her diaper and made sure that was taken care off. It was just sick to see her like that.

ETA: i has brought her clean clothes on thrusday and she still had lots of clean clothes in her drawer. So i dont think there is an excuse for it.

i think you need to talk to someone about not cleaning her, there should not be buggers like that, and she should have been changed, did you leave clothes for her? i am so glad to hear that she is gaining weight though, i hope she gets to come home soon mama,

you need to talk to hte head charge nurse, head neonatologist,patient advocate... whoever you need to there is NO need for that

I bring her clean clothes all the time. There has never been a time where she has run out of clothes. I have pictures of her and video of it. I just dont like that hospital anymore. I feel like thet dont take good enough care of her. When im there i always wipe her down and clean her because i would not want to be dirty. So..im going to talk to someone while im down there today.

Yeah. deff. Im just so sick of all of this. They didnt even tell me she was sick. I called saturday and sunday and they never mentioed it. Wouldnt they tell me something like that? And seeing her like that made me want to just take her.

i hope things get better, i was reading your other post about the way they were treating you, i honestly would be looking into a different hospital, i mean i know its gotta be hard seeing as she is in the nicu, and i havent personally expireced that, but maybe look into a different hospital that may take her, and then try to get the one that she is in now to change something, because there is no reason for them to treat you like that, and your babydeserves better care then that too

Im not sure how i would go about doing that. I would have to look into it.I know another hospital in tampa has a nicu. Im just going to talk to the head nurse when i go in. And explain to her whats going on. I mean and the nurses are so mean to me. I go as much as i can yet.. they threaten me with cps and everything else. When look at the way they are treating her.

That's horrible! Why would they call CPS?

Please please talk to some one. The hospital staff there is failing you horribly.

From what i understand its because i dont see her everyday. Im there every day expect mondays, weds and fridays. ( fridays i always have doctors appointments) and this friday they have to freeze my cervix and im not sure how im going to feel afterwards. And i dont call enough. I call alot when im not there. And half the time the nurse is busy or on break and i have to talk to another nurse who isnt taking care of her and all the can tell me is shes doing okay and that the nurse will call me back. The nurses never call me back.

Oh i know. Im talking to them tommrow and explaining everything to them. I was so pissed on how freaking dirty she was on sunday. And why they left the same outfit on her. I changed her outfit on friday. It was still on her sunday. And it was so gross that dried snot was all over the bandage. you would think they would at least change that out.
