Ok me and my baby's dad havent been together since I was 5 months prego He cheated then left me for the girl he cheated on me with we had been together for 2 years and Now I'm 8 months and He hasnt called much of anything since he left besides to yell and scream at me and say he's signing his rights away or the baby isnt his and a bunch of shit Which is all lies to hurt me well today he calls my work and is all nice to me ask me how me and the baby are and if I need anything and if Im Ok Why the hell after all this time would be call and try to be nice to me and ask me if Im ok. Im so confused and to understand this alittle better HE HATES TALKING IN THE PHONE and He sat there trying to talk to me for about a hour can anyone explain Why??? Please Im so Confused

hes a man and obviously he doesnt know what he wants, maybe his family is getting on his back about supporting the baby?

I would be careful around him if I were you. I would feel him out alot more and not trust too much of anything he says. I would also keep my distance until I felt like I knew exactly where this "change of heart" came from.

anyway... damn i don't even know what i would do if i were you. i wouldn't believe anything he says though, he's probably full of shit. sorry... 

After 8 months or so of himnot being around... if he wants to take some responsibility for the baby he should go to court and do all the paper work and help you out, but besides that there is nothing you need to talk to him about and plus to put up with his immaturity and treat you like you are nothingyou don'tneedthat right now. Also, something must have happened with the other girl for him to be looking for you again and wanting to talk, so be carefull.
I am kind of goingthrough the same situation, he started screeming at me over the phone and keep saying he would help but never did up to now, but when he started treating really bad over the phone I just decided that it will be better if we don't talk at all unless if its something related with the baby besides that there is nothing I need to talk to him about.But I am keeping my distance from him because heused tocall just to say how much he misses me and how much he loves me but I have spend over 2000 dollars on the baby situation and he hasn't given me not even half of that. so if he misses me that much and says he loves me that much he should actually start taking responsibility for this baby. I feel that right now it is not time for me to be weak and believe on anything he says I am doing everything I can to be strong for the babyand me because reality is that he is not going to give me all that I'm going to need andif I sit and wait that will never come so I just know for a fact that me being next to him will be coming back for more problems and to me... he is not the important one right now, the important thing is the baby.
