a bit concerned...

So i'm 28 weeks now, and last week i posted something about not feeling the baby move as much . It hasn't gotten better. There are some days i dont feel her at all, and the days i do feel her, she'll only kick once. I've tried drinking something cold, eating something sugary, NOTHING works. I tried the kick count, and not getting 10 kicks in 2 hours. I had a friend over today and i mentioned this to her and she told me to go to the DR's because the baby could be in fetal distress ( or something like that) or she could have the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck... what do you guys think it could be and what should i do?? I'm going crazy here, plus to top it off i've been having terrible dreams lately about something being wrong with her. Thanks for your answers!

I would call your doctor and see what they say...they will probably have you go to L&D

I would call your doctor ASAP! If you can't get a hold of them I would go into the ER just to get your baby checked out. I'm 25 weeks on Tuesday and I feel 10 kicks in like....5 minutes. It's crazy. So definitely see the doctor. She could very well be in distress.

IF you sense something is wrong.. there probally is.. its called mothers intuition. ID go in if i were you sweetie.. AND demand a U.S. to confirm everything IS A-OK. bc once they putu on that monitor.. the baby will start kicking around like crazy.. MINES ALLWAYS did.. making me look totally stupid. but better safe then SORRy.. to up to l&d and ask to be put on the monitors. they dont care .

I just posted a question about this because it seems like my baby hasn't been doing much moving today. I was kind of concerned as well. I didn't know if baby movements should be regular by this point.

I would call L&D and see what they said. Or go there. They will hook you up to a monitor and give you peace of mind. It could be the position of your baby too. She might have went heads down or vice versa. best of luck.

this happend to me at 28 weeks as well.. i freaked and went to the hospital to the ER to check on her..
i was soo worried something happend because she wouldn t move( in a day and a half period) unless i pushed her.. and she wouldnt even move really after i did that..
so i went to the ER and they checked her.. they checked her heartbeat and stuff and sure enough everything was fine .. she kicked the doppler off my tummy when they were checking her.. haha..
They told me she was probablly in a rear facing position or sleeping alot..
but i would call L&D or go to the ER..

i felt like an idiot when she kicked the nurse but even the nurse said its better i went there to make sure everything was okay.. becuase you can never be to careful.

Like someone said, most hospitals wont mind you coming down to get hooked up to the monitor. If anything it will make you feel better. Keep us posted.

You really should listen to your friend and these ladies because your baby could be in danger. Even up to delivery by baby kicked me all the time. He wouldn't hold still for the life of him. Please go to L&D!

At around that same time my little one did that too for a couple of days. I tried everything too but nothing worked. She would give me a couple nudges but that was all...any other time she is constantly going. But as for now she is backed to normal! Hope that makes you feel better.

thanks for your answers guys! I just got off the phone with my DR and he told me to go on down to L&D so the can monitor the baby. I'll keep you guys posted.

u GO girl.. go get that baby checkd.. im sure all is well. .but not knowing and the stress is CRAZY.. Im a L&D RN AND id HAVE YOU COME everyday.. 20x if u had to.. and i wouldnt care
