paci

I'm starting to think that not only am I a source of nurshisment and security..but I'm starting to figure out that I have two built in pacifiers...now when my son eats..nine times of ten he'll eat and then fall asleep and wake up 5mins later and eat and fall asleep...if i get him a bottle he doesn't do this...and sometimes after he has about 4 oz of fomula he crys until he gets some boobie time..and also he's starting to favor me over his daddy..(as much as he says he doesn't care, i know he does) I'm just wondering if there are anyother mommies with babies that like to do that?

ohh, my daughter loves to do that. she'll eat, fall asleep, then if i try to take my boob away from her she'll suck hard. then she pretends(what it seems like) to eat. then just go back to sleep

it makes me giggle every time she does it, but it does get annoying if i have to do something and she just won't let go! lol.

my problem is that after doing this for three months my nipples are just now starting to hurt like i was doing it for the first time...i exclusively pumped for the first month and them breast feed from the time he came home not once were my nipples sore i guess its a delaied reaction

yeah, they'll probably get better. i've been breastfeeding for the past 3 weeks and mine still get a little sore every so often. but nothing too intense.

Thats how much son is, He loves being with me, and does the same thing when he eats, He wont let me put him down but if i give him to his daddy he will be put down till he hears my voice then start crying till i get him, Crazy boy i thought it was just him....

nope..i think my son's at the stage where he favors his mommy...i mean he doesn't dislike his daddy but if mommy's there then he'd prefer me...i think it's because he's usually with me all day and night..i think it will get worse if my husband gets into the military and he has to go to bootcamp and his MOS

I know what you're going through! Riley has been wanting to use me as a paci a lot lately. I've tried different types of pacifiers, but he really perfers the real thing

Air National Guard..my dad's in the ANG and his dad is retired from the AF..he's brother's in the AF and my brother is a Marine..his mom use to be in the AF also..my father is a former Marine we're both military brats..lol
