Low Milk supply question about Fenugreek

OK just this past week my milk supply has really gone done ALOT so I tried mothers milk tea and that taste really nasty to me so I got fengreek seed I just started takin it yesterday. My question is when will I notice a difference? How long do I take it for? I also have been holding my daughter while I pump an I'm drinking a TON of water.Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

It usually takes 24-48 hours to notice a difference, and you take it until you notice a difference and your supply has increased to your satisfaction, then you can stop taking it and your supply will regulate itself. Keep drinking a lot of water, eat a lot of calories, and nurse as often as possible... more often than you pump, if you can, but I don't know if your baby is taking the breast or not.

she won't take the breast but i keep trying with her.

i took 3 pills every 4 hours and noticed a difference in a day or 2 and stopped after about 3 days.
