Acid Reflux?

Last night, I woke up out of nowhere feeling like I was being beaten in the chest/stomach lol. I cried for an hour and NOTHING I did could make it go away, but I felt SO nauseas. I go to the ER, and they say it's acid reflux. Wtf? I never thought it was so painful!

It's pretty freaking terrible .

I have it and it SUCKS! It brings me to tears. The burning pain is terrible.. it sometimes feel like someone is ripping my throat out of my neck.

When I was pregnant with my son it was absolutely horrible!! I would bawl b/c it hurt so bad!! I would try everything to get it to go away and it wouldn't!! After I had my son, I ended up having gall bladder surg. I haven't had acid reflux since then! I don't know if those have anything to do with each other or not lol!!

But the thing is, I didn't have ANYthing that felt like heartburn. It was more of a sharp pain in my upper abdomen, that went from my belly button to underneath my breast and made it so that I couldn't breathe. I had no idea it had anything to do with acid reflux, but that's what they tell me.

I usually get a burning sensation. Sometimes it just sharp pains.. I had gone to the doctor about the sharp pains and he said its just my acid reflux.

Oh yeah it's horrible. I had esophogitis where the flap in my throat does not close and I always get acid reflux. Now I am pregnant, it's worse. I take prilosec once a day and it works wonders.
