Just wondering

My son was 5 weeks early and i was wondering what milstones he should have gotten to by now. We dont go back to the dr untill he is nine months so i cant really ask questions. So he is 7 months now what were your premiees doing at that age. And really i ask because i would like to see the signs of him needed help cause my oldest is a specail needs child and we didnt figure that out till well after he was 2. So any imput would be apprecatied.

As far as I know there is no preemie adjustment for 5 weeks early .
My daughter was also 5 weeks early I was never told to adjust for her age for anything .

Question....for 5 weeks early...did your baby have any NICU time?

Yes he spent two weeks in the NICU why?

Im not sure if I will make it to my due date...as a matter of fact...I highly doubt that I will make it.....
I keep having dreams that I will have them at 35-37 weeks......I wanted to know how many preemies had NICU and what the average gestional age is....

I was never really told to adjust his age but the dr has said he is small and told me that if he would have been born full term he would be in the 25 percintile for weigh and heigh. Thats the only thing they have really adjusted. I just am not sure where he should be because my daughter was 4 weeks early and she did just fine. My oldest has autism and a speech delay so i want to make sure hes not getting it and if he does i want to catch it quicker.

No shots we had no warning she would arrive early at all .
She weighed 5lbs3oz 17" .

My son was born weighing 5lbs 13oz i had the steriod shots but his lungs still werent developed enough. They had to give him more steriods after he was born to open them up and really he was off the oxygen in a week but lazy bones over here didnt want to eat so we spent another week cause he just didnt want to take the bottle.
