Iran

This is just something that I was thinking about as I was trying to sleep last night.
If Iran cannot be compelled diplomatically to halt nuclear/uranium enrichment, do you think that a military preemptive strike is in order? Do you think that US/UN would be justified in doing that?

If other countries can develop nuclear weapons, why can't Iran? The U.S. never seems to have a problem when it's their allies developing the weapons.
Either all countries should have them (if they are able to through their own means), or none should.

It's not ever justified to do a preemptive anything strike. Around these parts we call it "starting the fight"
Besides, the fact that we have 4,075 nuclear weapons active (and about 1500 more just kinda chillin somewhere) here in the United States kind of outguns the measly enrichment that Iran is doing.
It's funny how in the best-defended country in the world people can feel so insecure. I guess all that compromising our privacy in the name of safety thing isn't working.
Or maybe, to the right people, it is ...
