Ive been using gas drops.. i think it might be what did it..
He had diarreah (sp) the other day bc hes lactose intolerant (we think)
so ive been giving those to help his belly for that
and now he hasnt pooped in about 2 days
its usually atleast everyday
idk maybe its normal?
i hope so bc today hes acting better
so far atleast

How long has it been since he's pooped? More importantly, has it been hard?

You can try giving him an ounce or 2 of warm apple juice, if you truly think it's constipation.

Have you switched his formula to a lactose free one? Gas drops won't help him if that's the problem. My daughter is Enfamil Lactofree

Maybe try some Mylicon drops.. Has he been pooping normally?
Also, if you don't want to use the drops, when my daughter got an over obundance of gas in her belly, and would cry for hours, I'd lay her on her back, on the floor or couch... And kinda stretch her legs. Push her knees up to her chin a few times. She would eventually pass gas, and would be a-ok after.

You think he is lactose intolerant? Is he is soy formula? If he isn't that will make his tummy hurt. My son is on soy formula.

Give him a bit of warm water instead of gas drops. That will help him feel better, that plus a warm bath ^-^

As much as you may want to breastfeed go to the store and buy soy formula. Sounds just like my son when he was born. He didn't want to drink the formula so the nurses force fed him after a few hours. And always within minutes he spit it up. If he is lactose intolerant the milk is going to make his tummy hurt. I use Similiac Isomil. It's a red can.

so breastfeeding him even if i have cut out dairy completely can still hurt him?

Yeah hun - it's hard to pinpoint feeding/tummy issues sometimes yourself, and it's so confusing in the beginning as to what's normal or not - it's best to talk to his doctor - he'll help you figure out what's going on.
