14 weeks what do I need?

I am 14 weeks as off yesterday. Of course I don't know the sex of the baby yet but, I am really itching to buy some baby stuff. What are some things I should think about buying now? Should I buy big stuff now or small stuff? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I'm 14 weeks today .. & even though I'd love to buy stuff I'm waiting to find out the sex. & I'll probably only buy clothes because I'll wait until after the baby shower to see what I really need.

You can always start to buy diapers, I wouldnt but alot of Newborn ones, my little girl was in a size one by her second week. Wipes, other than that I would wait to find out the sex of the baby or if your keeping it a secret you could buy unisex stuff.

buy whatever you want..
you can buy both gendered onsies and outfits.
diapers (would be a really good idea)
but dont go all crazy and stuff.. especially if there is talk of a baby shower.. i would wait till you find out the sex or until your a little further along.

before i knew the sex i would buy toys, books, and clothes that would go for boy or girl like yellow or greens ... you can get crib sheets alllllll kinds of stuff.

crib sheets, gender netural outfits and bibs, receiving blankets. Prepare yourself with diapers and babywiptes and bottles now. it's always nice to know that you already have some in case you get in a money crunch.

There are a lot of clearance stuff right now. So you could get onesis colored or white ones, socks, receiving blankets, bottles if your aren't going to bf, of course diapers (the Target here has cases for like $13, when I first saw them they were 23 and then 19 now 13), wipes, towels, really whatever you want. You have about 5-6 weeks before you know what you are having. Although buying big stuff could save you less time later.

Just a warning about buying clothes, I went all out along with a good friend of mine when I was just a few months along and then at my baby shower Everyone bought atleast 2 outfits size newborn and 3-6 months I have 2 dressers packed with baby clothes but only to 6 months, he probably wont even be able to wear all of them and after 6 months he ahs almost nothing...so I say totally buy a couple things to get it out of your system but don't go overboard because everyone else is most likely going to lol.

I already have our crib, ha. That's because it was given to us though. You can stock up on diapers, I've already started buying htem, my mom told me to, cause then it's easier not to have to run out with a newborn, especially since I'll have him/her in the winter. Onesies (you'll need tons!) bottles, wipes, ect.
