Who has used the mini pill?

Had my 6 weeks PP appt today, and was given the mini pill has a form of contraception since i want to exclusivsely breastfeed..Any of you ladies have any experiance with it?? Negative or positive??

I was on it because of BP problems and the mini pill doesnt spike it. Anyway, I hated it. I bled the entire first 3 weeks I was on it and then my 4th week when should have gotten my AF I had nothing. I was so screwed up they took me off of it.

my SIL loves it...although she says it's a pain in the butt to have to take it everyday within 30 minutes of when she took it the day before...that's the only complaint i've heard so far...:S Wish I could be better help

what is the mini pill? ive been hearing alot about this lately

I took it for a couple of months. I never had any side effects from it, which is nice because every other pill I've ever been on has made me sick and given me migraines. However, I'm really terrible at taking pills so I stopped using it and am looking into Mirena.

Its a pill with no estrgen since it could dry up your milk. It's only progetrone.

This is happening to me! I hate it! I'll be on my fourth week tomorrow and my bleeding is coming to a hault. I don't want to take it anymore, what do you use?

I did the NuvaRing for a little while and I loved it, but now my BP is out of control so I'm on nothing.

I was taking this too. While I dont have anything really negative to say about it, it definitely did screw up my system too. I bled for 3 weeks at the beginning and now have not ever had a period after that and its been almost4 months! I dont know what to think because they say that BFing causes your period to stop but wouldnt the pill regulate that? Or why did I bleed once and then never again??

I was on it 6 weeks after I had Mikaila. No Side effects no problems until she was 7 months old and I was no longer bf and I got pregnant with Logan.. I started taking it at 5 weeks pp no side effects minor spotting the first few days. My midwife did tell me that as soon as he started solids or I started nursing less to get switched to a combined pill..

well damn lol!!! I just wont have sex then..sheesh, i dont have any desire to think about it anyways. My C section was tramatic enough haha..thanks gals =0)
