I see white streaks?

WTF? I don't get dizzy or have swelling. I just feel tired & weak. Sometimes I see streaks of white light?! What is this? I told my doc & he said floaters are normal but it isn't floaters. Its like tiny strings of white shooting across my vision. Know anything about this?

I don't know anything about it...but i've been experiencing lots of this lately as well.

I'd say go get your iron levels checked, you could possibly be anemic? That's what was happening to me... I was seeing dots though, and getting dizzy, and tired, and i'm anemic. So i'd say go check just to be sure!

I'd say anemic too.
It feels like my limbs are all 20 lbs heavier than they should be and simple tasks leave me completely wiped. I also get floaties in my eyes, too.

now that its mentioned i've felt very exhausted after simple tasks lately as well...I should ask because now i'm concerned :S hmm

I get those when I am pregnant. Because I am anemic throughout my pregnancies.

Agreeing with Anemic...

I was diagnosed with anemia years ago, but stopped taking iron pills because they gave me really bad stomach cramps. Since I've been pregnant, I have been seeing spots and getting dizzy/lightheaded and very clumsy and VERY exhausted.... blood test revealed that my hemoglobin count was low, and now I'm back on Iron pills. Ugh!

Thanks for shareing. I took iron pills with my other pregnancy but not this one. IDo you think I should call the doc or wait til my appt next fri? I have felt like this for 3 days now & basically know nothing about it

I get white streaks in my vision when im about to get a migraine... its my warning sign.

You can buy iron pills at any pharmacy. Like walgreens, cvs, target....they are like 5 bucks.

No problem. I would call your doctor just to be on the safe side. Chances are they will tell you to go get some over the counter iron pills.
