contractions after sex?

ok so i have heard you can have contractions up to one hr after having sex but i have been having really painful ones for about 4 hrs now...and they arnt easing up...has anyone else experienced this and what did u to to help with the pain?


i took 2 tylenol...but that hasnt helped

Drink a glass of water and lay down on your left side. The contractions should ease up. How far apart are they and how long do they last?

My doc toldme that its ok to have them after sex but if they dont go away thats when you need to worry . howo far along are you ? If they keep coming you may want to call L&D and ask them for helkp or info

there about 6 min and last around a minand a half

Sounds like labor if they are that close ! you should def call labor and delivery and see what they say!

yea i think ill wait a little longer but if they dont stop im def calling....im hoping they will ease up but now im having back labor...so i guess time will tell

i guess so ! they also say if you can talk or walk through them it is not time , if you have to stop its porbably labor ! Man i watch way tooo much baby story! every pain i have i think its a contraction lol

First drink a big glass of water.... Lay on your side on the couch and time your contractions for an hour. Get a pen/pencil and a piece of paper andwrite down the time that each contraction starts, and what time itends.If you call L&D they're going to tell you to do that. So do it first so if they don't stop you cant go right away!

well i watch alot of dicovery health channel  and you would think this being my 2nd i would know whats goin on

lol yeah i watch that too. do you watch the show about the crazy midwife and her birthing center ! all those women are soo brave they have all their kids natuarally !

yea....she's a little out there...i thought i wanted to have my 1st without anything until i went into labor then begged for an epi and it ended up not working due to back labor so i had to do it without anything anyways  def dont want to have to repete that again!

i guess im gonna try and lay down and drink that glass of water but ill update u guys and thanks soooo much!!!

and this website will track the contraction for you, how long and time between them no math required. Just have to be able to press the spacebar and it will keep a runing total
