38 Weeks

How many of you mommies gave birth at 38 weeks? How did the baby come out healthy ? did it go to the nicu? Were the chubby or underweight?

I had my daughter at 38 weeks 6 days and am going in to be induced in a few hours. I am 38 weeks 4 days. Bella lacked one ounce from being 8 pounds.

My daughter was born at 38wk and 4days and she was 7lb 2 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She scored a 9.9 on her apgar so she was perfectly healthy

ahhhhh your so lucky! i was just wondering because i read a post earlier about some ones friend being 37 weeks and the babies lungs only being 25% developed worried me a bit

I gave birth to my son at 38w 4d. He was 7lbs 8oz

Yeah I read that too and it freaked me out... but I think you will be fine if you go now. My daughter had jaundice, and I am praying my son won't. I am soooo freaking nervous! I should be sleeping, but CAN'T!!!

i could imagine if c-section or my induction date is decided im not sleeping the night before either lol!

im assuming your gettin a csection because its a repeat but why did you get it the first time?

me???? I am being induced. I had pre-eclampsia with my daughter and my BP is getting high, so they are trying to avoid pre-eclampsia this time. Sooooo, another induction. I wanted to go on my own this time.....

I had mine at 36w5d & he was fine! Small...no NICU time (born at home), lungs perfect. 5lb. 8oz & 18".
Maybe that person had their EDD wrong? Hmmm...

I have to leave here at 5.... it takes an hour to get there.
