I'm a prefold Mama. I love my cloth diapers.... but I'm a little apprehensive about cloth wipes. I've been contemplating using cloth wipes.... I need more info on them. What do you do with the poop? Do you just fling it in the toilet? What do you do with pasty poo? What is the care difference do you wash them with you cloth diapers? Help?!?!

if it's a pretty solid poo i just pick it up and then shake it into the toilet...if it's not very solid then i use disposable wipes lol

lol yeah I use disposable wipes. But I'm curious about cloth wipes... Not to sure about them though.

if I wasa baby, that's what I'd want my but wiped with  
I just make mine out of flannel but they're super soft and I know exactly what's going into the solution I could send you a few sometime if you'd like to try them or, you could just use some baby washcloths for practice

aww shucks   coming from you that means a lot. I was soooo nervous becaue I'd never sewn elastic before.

the problem with crocheting is the hooks leave bigger holes, so the water resistancy may not be as good, even if you lanolize properly...

Can you felt crochet? I wonder if she could crochet it bigger and then felt it? Or does that only work with knit?

if nothing else, I'll end up with really cute pants lol.
I'm trying it out right now with some regular white yarn just to practice...so far so good, but I"m just working on the ribbing for the waist

lol if I did that, I'd have my aunt felt it...she's used to wool because she has sheep and what not

i use mainly cloth wipes her poo is never solid bc she is BFed but i still use them....to me they are easier to toss in the dipe and throw it iin the basket than to carry the disposable wipes to the trash after or whatever. i like using them.

Well it's pretty unanimous. Cloth wipes it is.
