I need help! Everytime i put the wee man in cloth it leaks. I'm totally incompetent

Using bumgenius they leak (pee). Everytime i feed him they leak out the side he's laying on too. They aren't too loose though because i can see the marks left behind from the elastic'ness.

He has chunky thighs and i wondered if that's anything to do with it? Most diapers seem too short on the rise for him but i don't know if it's just my imagination as he's only 2 months old.

Has anyone else had trouble with BG, and is it related to baby shape?

I've also tried Motherease Sandys on him and they're leaking too.

Any suggestions?

Did you buy them used? They might need to be stripped.

What snap setting do you have the BG on? Maybe go up a snap setting....could be too tight and causing compression leaks.

The BG were new off ebay for 1/2 price   But they are USELESS   I'm really disappointed because i thought they'd even be easy enough for DH. Thankfully i only have a few and didn't bother getting any more.

Some of the Motherease were used, but i can't tell the difference between the used ones and the new ones i washed.

What do you think i should do with them to try and get them sorted?
I also haven't used any extra liners in them, they are new - how should i prepare them? Just plain wash?

I think this wrap is past it's day, which sucks because it's so cute and they don't make them anymore

Does that look better than the gigantic effort of the other ones i tried?

BGs are really great diapers...you just have to figure out why they aren't working for you! Are you using the insert they came with? And yes, that looks way better than the other pic you showed me!! lol

Just washing new inserts a few times should be fine.

I've never had a BG leak. What snap setting do you have them on? They may need to be tighter. Are they leaking out the material or out the sides?

lmao his butt was about 10 inches higher than his head with that wrap on. I still don't understand it because they aren't that thick. Ha i should've got myself a fleece wrap like that instead of the trendelenburg position to keep the twins in lol.

I had to sell the v.3 BGs for $ unfortunately, so it's the v.2 i'm trying to figure out. The first time they leaked out the back after about an hour, since then they leak out the legs straight away

I'm wondering if they are too big...
I never used v2, so I am not much help.

Quoting *Lolo*:“ if you make the ritas rumps pocket out of flannel you do not need to use a cover correct? because the flannel makes it water proof or whatever right?”
flannel needs a cover. Fleece can be a cover.

My mistake, it's the AIO on the website;

They're abit lower than huggies and way shorter than pampers on him. I thought i had them tight enough as it's leaving the mark behind.
