I will only ever get divorced if my future husband (whoever he may be) physically or sexually abuses me.

NO ONE goes into marriage with the thought or hope to get divorced. I think if you give it 100% and if after trying all you can there is no love, respect, trust, etc. in the marriage, there is no marriage, reguardless if you have gotten a divorce or not. So why stay "legally" married if there isn't a marriage to have. Yes, I am a christian, I can't quote any verse in the bible, however, I believe being Legally married doesn't make you any more married than some people that arn't. My mom and "step dad" are not legally married, but they have a better relationship than many married couples. That aside, I believe God doesn't dispell their relationship JUST b/c they arn't married according to the state we live in. just my opinion!!!

Main thing is, the small town I live in will not bless our marriage. They would rather see us have this child out of wedlock and live together unmarried than me remarry. The main protests coming from his mother. Everyone keeps telling him if he marries me he'll go to hell for adultery and it's getting really old. I kinda feel betrayed by all of them.
