Dad's to be!

posted 7th Aug
Okay so i read this article this morning and it was pretty moving! I always tell my man interesting things about what's happening with our little one every week and when I learn something new or read a funny story on this site or anywhere else I love to tell him... So while I was reading this it made me realize a bunch of stuff!!! Why don't we share more sympathy and include or men more in the pregnancy process? When someone comes up to yall (you and your BD/fiance/husband/boyfriend) and asks how you are feeling why dont we politely answer the question then "brag" about how well our significant other is doing with it also... like support, help around the house, etc. After reading this I'm definitely going to make it a point from now on to thank/brag/include my sweetie in more during this awesome journey together so he doesn't feel unappreciated or left out :]

Actually, I keep my husband updated as much as possible. He touches my stomach and talks to it all the time. Heis sooo supportive and helpful. And I DOOOOOO brag about him. A LOT! I think everyone should. Assuming their guy is not being a dick anyways. LoL

Lol so does my boyfriend! Aren't they adorable haha. but yeah I read that and it made me think of some people I knew that didn't really include their husbands/significant others and what not. If they are being dicks this doesn't apply :] haha!

I agree! I say the same thing all the time! I feel so bad for my boyfriend...everyone is always asking me how I am doing/feeling, etc. and I always feel like he is excluded. In the future I am going to do what you said and brag about how great he has been and how much help he has been, etc. He is the same was with taking to the baby and rubbing/kissing my belly but when friends and family ask me next time I will make sure to let them know how great of a dad to be he is!

Awe, I tell Jeff everything that's happening too. I also always ask him how he's doing. Give him random kisses and back rubs too. I looove the fact that being pregnant is making him do things, but I don't want him to think I'm taking advantage. ha.

hehe i just kidding though, its very important to keep the man involved becuase they do tend to drift if they are not physically a part of it.

I always try to ask Mark how hes feeling. I know with our son he had cravings and even contractions towards the end. And with this one he had a little morning sickness!!! Which I find amusing, cause I didnt have it. Its like he took it for me.
Guys do suffer from pregnancy too... at least my Husband does.
