PP Bleeding

so i had my baby july 3rd and i have been bleeding heavy ever since but like on monday when i had my check up i mostly had discharge but my dr gaveme thenuva ring to sampleand it was like that for about 4 days just a lot of discharge but then i took out the ring because apparently my dr forgot i told him i was breastfeeding but since fridayi have just been bleeding a lot...its watery and i keep having these huge clots come out and its ridiculous i have to change my pad every 30mins and i have the always overnight protection pads but i soak those fast......but what im wondering is since i had my check up is it okay for me to use tampons again???

I'd wait another week.
It's only been 5 weeks right?
If you have clost still coming out your body is still cleaning itselsf out. I'd wait another week.

I'm not sure about the tampon thing, but I was always told that if you're filling a pad once an hour, to go to the hospital. And you're filling two...

i forgot to mention i had a c-section and on july 23rd i had gallbladder surgery just im bleeding more now then i was when i actually had her

How long has it been going on for? I would contact your dr. if I were you. It could be your period, or it could be something more. Doesn't hurt to figure out.

If you are filling a pad that often and you are that far PP, go to the hospital. Like, Now. You shouldn't even fill a pad that often the first day is what I was told. (I was told the first two days are heavy, but should be no more than a pad an hour and it should taper off after that for up to 6 weeks)
