Opppssss... Registry question

posted 6th Aug
So.. I went on my registry today to add something and noticed someone already brought something.. Now is it wrong of me to play with the registry after that? All I wanted to do was take of a few items i deem unneccessary for someone else to buy me when ill probably be able to buy it myself (mainly using registry for items i probably wont be able to afford myself). Plus i want to change the swing i have on there.. I have the boppy travel swing and I want to change it to the rainforest travel swing... what do you think? I feel bad for knowing the bedding set was brought since i probably know who bought it...

I seriously change my registry daily! And people have bought stuff already too. Go for it. I don't think anyone will notice

dont feel bad...i made a registry wayyy early (for me and my husband so we could start buying things a little at a time) and my mother (when i was only 10 weeks prego!) went to babiesrus and bought $800 worth of stuff!! she bought my entire nursery for the baby...the bedding the decor...everything...and now i feel bad bc me and hubby picked out nuetral stuff...well now im second guessing myself and that i want more gender oriented stuff =[ but id feel horrible returning it all =[

Im thinking it was probably mt mom who bought the bedding set because its the only thing on my registry online only, and its the one thing I was REALLY worried about because of that factor.. I know i caught my stepmom trying to go to babiesrus yesterday, lol. she told me she was going to the store, and i asked if i could go, and what store she was going to. She refused to tell me the store then all of a sudden changed her mind.. I cant help that im a semi stay at home mom/daughter and being home all week gets boring.. lol

i Changed mine a bunch of times before my baby shower and noticed the same thing... we registered really early before my husband went in for basic bc he wanted to make sure i wasnt putting everything in it lol.

well we only told our parents that we had registered and well my MIL went and bought some stuff... and i saw it had been bought... we knew it was her, she is super excited!

but alot of people didnt even go by our registry they just bought whatever... just make sure to let everyone know not to only but newborn stuff... thats mostly what we got. i didnt put any clothes on it bc i knew that people would buy that anyways... and dont expect to get everything on it... i was kinda bummed when we didnt get the stuff we really wanted... but its ok ill get it with the gift cards that we got.

good luck!

Ya know, we waited til we found out we were having a little boy then most everything is neutral anyway. Rofl.. We arent fans of the color blue so everything is sage, brown or orange... it all is very neutral.

we went color neutral just in case we have a boy next... and we didnt know the sex of the baby when we made our registry but i still got a bunch of blankets and clothes that are pink so im not worried about it. and hubby wont let me do all pink things... he says he isnt going to feel comfortable pushing a pink stroller around.. lol oh well!

but if you do decide to go with a color theme go for it. ive heard that youll have to clean the bedding alot if the baby spits up, or goes potty on them... so its good to have 2 sets

I'd go ahead and change it. That way you won't have to go return anything that you end up not wanting.

no target and babiesrus... but i hear that with target they only take the return if you have the receipt or gift receipt... any well not everyone puts the darn receipt with the gift and they are all labeled stupid i mean which 'feeding acces.' label goes with the millions of bottle brushes and those dish washer containers or spoons that i got??? it really sucks... i have like over 20 bottle brushes and 4 or 5 of those dish washer containers... i only registered for like 1 or 2 of each... and well i dont have any bottles to brush... lol sooo when opening your gifts have someone keep track of what gift receipts go with what you get just in case... you have to return them...

this might sound bad but target does have a realy strict return policy but if wa;-mart sells the same items (sometimes they do) you can return it to them they take anything back with an ID just like Home Depot (i work there) and we return ANYTHING you could probably return baby stuff to HD and they wouldn't argue Lol but seriously try wal-mart or someone said that at target if it was bought off your registry that they can look it up that way dunno if thats true good luck
