re: funny/shocking/frustrating pregnancy stories

Alright i have to post because this just happened and it makes me wanna laugh and curl up in a ball and die at the same time. Im sitting in my bedroom watching my dvred secret life of an american teenager and i feel like im going to get sick. so i start taking off toward the upstairs bathroom, but of course all of the lights are off in the upstairs hall and i need to stop and turn on lights as not to fall into the baskets of clothes that litter the hallway im "getting around to cleaning out" . So i manage to make it into the bathroom,  miss the toilet by about a foot and then stand there heavy into the toilet. And if that doesn't make it bad enough i also realize im peeing everytime i heave. So my boyfriend and father come running into the bathroom to see if im alright and find me crying,puking and peeing myself. Oh the joys of pregnancy.   

I'm only 10 weeks along but about 3 weeks ago I was shooting a wedding (I'm a photographer with my boyfriend) and I was up and about and feeling fine. I didn't mention it to anyone because I didn't want anyone worrying that I'd be sick or tired, so I kept up with my boyfriend and everything was great until the end of the reception.
We wereshooting the family dancing and having a great time when I suddenly felt the strongest urge to throw up. I grabbed the closest thing possible and tried to be discreet.....until I noticed I had grabbed one of the giant salad bowls....that someone was still eating.
I appologized while feeling dizzy and sweatyand ended up explaining myself, but it was the most mortifying moment of my life so far.
i can only imagine what the next 30 weeks will contain!

It gets easier! I was lucky enough to not have any morning sickness!

Bless you! My mom has had 3 girls, I am the oldest and even after she had had just me, she had to cross her legs everytime she sneezed or laughed because she would pee a little. We used to see how bad we could make her laugh to pee in her pants... mean i know, but it sure was funny.

lol that is funny. I do that when I get sick in the mornings. So now when i know i get sick i have to either go pee before i throw up and make sure everything is out or i have to sit on toilet and get sick in trash can. I did that this morning and was thinking about this site and wondered am I the only weird one that has to do this.?

When I was expecting my 3rd child my half sister who was 6 at the time wanted to see the baby. I was wearing a maternity dress and she kept trying to lift it up to see. I was pretty embarrassed but it was cute cause she didn't know.

Two weeks ago, I found out that I'm approximately 8 weeks pregnant!...something my husband and I have been trying to accomplish for approximately a year and a half. We are sooo excited!  He ended up taking his father and son out on a "Boys Weekend Camping Trip" and didn't end up returning until the following Wednesday. Long story short, the Wednesday he was suppose to return, I woke up feeling VERY excited with plans of his return...and VERY nauseous...thinking it was just morning sickness, I carried on. Then it hit me like a tonne of bricks and the kielbassa I had consumed the night before made its grand re-entrance. I'm pregnant in the middle of morning sickness and I've been struck with the flu! I was completely out of comission for three days straight. Thank god for my best friend who came up for the week, she took care of my little ones for me while I recouperated. My husband ended up returning 4am Thursday morning. That same day, my 3 year old step son became sick...Yesterday, it was my 3 year old daughter...and today it was my husband! The only one left is my 8 year old step son and I'm pretty sure I'm getting it back! I'm seriously considering moving to a secluded island for a couple months until I'm safe to come back!! lol!

I have a semi- funny story. This is my first pregnancy and my mother and my boyfriend both went with me for my first ultrasound. I was about 6 weeks and 3 days at this point. So the nurse walks into the room and asks me to get undressed from the waste below and my mother turns to my boyfriend and says "TIM LEAVE!" which we all laughed at so he walked out of the room with the nurse. As I was getting undressed I heard the nurse laughing hysterically and the door was still semi-cracked so I got to hear what they were laughing at.... the nurse had turned to my boyfriend and said "It's not like you've never seen her naked before!!!" My boyfriend started cracking up and so did I. My mother just had this annoyed/trying not to laugh look on her face   HAHA (shes my favorite nurse)

Keep thefact that I'm anAmerican living in Germany for the time being in mind... so yesterday i went to the doctorfor aurinarytract infection.. and my kidneys weretoo swollen for only being 20 weeks...soi had to get an antibiotic. So i went to the pharmacy after the doc and they didnt have my medicine but the lady said that i could come get it in the morning and that it was going to be 45 EURO for my 12 pills which is pretty close to 75 dollars..
So,I called my friend who is a pharmacy technician on post and she said there is a pharmacy downtown I can go to and get it free but its the only one because they have a contract with the medical insurance the military has. On post they dont have german medicines so we have to go off post... this army base also doesnt have any OBs soI have to see a german doctor as well which isn't bad because they do ultrasounds at every visit so I'm a little bit spoiled.
So today I woke up at like 8:30 and went to the first pharmacy to get my prescription back and NOBODY in the whole place spoke a word of english..
So i was arguing with the lady and trying to just get my paper with the prescription back and she couldn't understand me... so it took like 30 minutes and finally i was like ok fine just charge me thestupid 45 Euro and give me the damn pills cuz i have a bladder infection and being pregnant and having to pee alot is bad enough without the pain of the infection!!... But they didnt accept my card of course cuz its bank of america haha

me: so i ended up like ripping my prescription outta the ladys hand and taking my card and leaving... so i went downtown and found this other pharmacy and had to park in the parking garage at the hospital like a block away... went and got my medicine and some supergood smelling perfume that was 4 Euro so like 7 bucks and went back to the truck... Well its hard enough to get the truck intoEuropean parking spots and ususally if you haven't been in the garage more than 30 minutes they don't charge you so I got in the truck and tried to leave and put my little ticket in the machine and the bar thing wouldn't go up.. SoI had to go back to my parking spot and find a maching to pay for my parking ticket thing.there was a sign for a parking ticket pay machine thing but no machine so i walked around in the hospital parking garage for like 15 minutes and finally found it, put my ticket in and some German words came up on the screen but no Euro amount..soI thought I didn't have to pay and it just had to check me out..I went back and got in the truck and triedto leave.. put the ticket thing in the machine butit still wouldn't work!
Once again I put the truck back in the parking spot and decided to outsmart the machine by walking out and getting a new little parking ticket thing and just using that one.. Well too bad if you're not in a car the machine wont give you one!! SoI went all the way back to the ticket paying machine and put my ticket in and it didn't say anything and popped the ticketback out!A German lady next to me waiting to use the machine,took my ticket and flipped it over and put it back in the machine and then a 1 Euro amount showed up on the screen. I put in my 1 Euro coin and got my ticket back and went back to the truck. Completely feeling stupid I drove up to the machine and put my ticket in one last time and the bar raised. Free at last!!  

i am 14 weeks and it seems like my clothes are not fitting any more and i just refuse to buy maternity clothes so early heres the funny part So one day i put on my fav jeans i just cant button them they fit fine every where else so i wore them to wal mart they were on my hips fine the whole time i was in the store when i got to the register to check i just felt different the cashier pointed it out and let me know my pants were around my kness i havent wore my clothes like that since
