ughhhhh pain!!!!

So Im 18 weeks and I have this really bad pain in my left leg and it hurts so bad when I walk or stand or do anything. My mom said that its an artary in my leg and when your pregnant it will start to bother you. Anyone else heard of this? I think its called your carartic artary??? ( dnt kno if I spelled that right) But anyways does anyone have any suggestions???

Yeah, the ciatic nerve.I got a pain in my lower back, almost near my tailbone, but a little towards the left. It stinks. =(

The pain in my leg is towards my knee and above that. Is there anything I can do to stop the pain?

It could definitely be your sciatic nerve. Talk to your doctor about it. As for relief, I unfortunately don't know if there is any hun.

It isnt anything bad or dangerous is it? Just something thats guuna bug the shit out of me!!!!!

No it isn't dangerous. As baby gets bigger he/she puts pressure on your nerves & arteries. Baby is just laying on your nerve causing you discomfort. My friend had is badly with her second son.

ughhhhh well this sucks!!!! I hate it cuz it hurts extremly bad all the time. But I make my fiance rub my legs and back so I guess I can deal wit it!!! Thanks for the help everybody!

I just read about this... Where exactly is the pain? It has something to do with the positioning of the baby.. Its most likely pressing against a nerve (i'm unsure which one) It said sometimes this can last throughout your entire pregnancy... And sometimes after (i'm sure that makes you feel much better ;) but it said massage, exercise and hot baths is really all you can do to help it..
