i know im not the only one who has a crazy ex. so his charges i pressed aginst him got dismissed, so the restraining order i have aginst him is no longer in effect. and i look like a crazy bitter ex. he knows i work in bar at night, and i dont come home till about 4 am. so kyle parks his car blocking off my driveway from about 3-5 am. and just sits there. ive called the police and until he physically hurts me, hes not on my actual property so hes not breaking any law. i had to change my number because i get about 50 phone calls from him a day. all private and all the messages are a girl talking in the phone though you can clearly him in the background. i dont know why he wants to convince himself a miscarriage is the same thing as an abortion but he obviously is fucked up.  so the last thing i need out of all the shit going on right now, i dont need 50 messages screaming baby killer. so now that he cant call hes blocking off my drive way every night. i dont even come home anymore because of this. i dont know what to do. any help would be nice.

i think its stupid that the cops cant do anything until he actually hurts you...because by then it could be too late.

doen't the States have a no stalking law or something??? Seriously cuz that sounds an awful lot like stalking to me...good luck!!!

harassment charges got dropped since i couldn't prove it was him.

File Charges! Keep track of everything and call the Police EVERYTIME hes there. Take a picture everytime to! There has to be a law somewhere to help you. Don't give up the cops will get sick of you calling EVERY night!

so get phone records.. neighbours to write a statement hes coming around etc.. even if he calls blocked call the police can request a record and trace it to a number.. its just a matter of pushing them to do something

I agree, file harrassment charges and get proof, take pics of him doing it. I would be so fricken annoying that they'd finally wanna get rid of me. I can't believe they think you had an abortion, clearly you weren't trying to terminate the pregnancy and I know how hard it is to have a m/c so they need to leave you alone.

i didnt know the cops can have it traced back to a phone. hopefully him calling wont become an issue. since my number changed. ill ask my only neighbor if she can watch for him to block off our drive way and keep track of it. because i can the end of my drive way since is a very long drive way before i turn to get down my rd, so when i see him there i just keep going drive back out to oswego and stay with my grandparents. im home alone the nights i dont work. my dad is home for a week then gone for three and my mom always works nights. being in my house alone constantly looking out my windows with the phone to call the cops... it just sucks.

thank you ladies so much for your help, im just frustrated and i dont even know what to do anymore. the whole cops saying he hasnt tried to hurt you yet, hes done nothing wrong. i mean im 20 years old (as of today) and i cant go anywhere with out having to look over my shoulder at all times. i cant go outside and smoke a ciggerette at night by myself. more often the not i dont even go home. this just is wrong on many days.

Happy Birthday! Yeah and they feel like if he's not physically hurting you then there's no point in coming out. It makes me mad that its causing you such mental troubles. My friend has an ex who abused her that she hasn't seen in 4 years and off and on she's had restraining orders cuz the guy is obsessed with her still.He's started randomly showing up places she is and she freaks out and takes off.I know that would scare me too, freakin nutso guy. Its nuts what that can do to you when you feel like you're being followed and harrassed.

#2) I would absolutely keep throwing a shit fit with the police until they do something... there are so many "little laws" that they could charge him on, they are just being lazy...
You can probably check online for a list of harassment related charges and find enough to get a restraining order back in place...

As for him calling you a "baby killer", that is just pathetic... If I believed in karma I would tell you that he is going to get it goooood one day, but I really think he will just end up screwing himself over first! *LOL*

thank you for the happy birthday, i met with a friend who happens to have a law degree, he is going to help me get another restraning order. then when he shows up agin he wants me to call him and hell get the state trooper to arrest him, and trying to get records from the phone company. and since the cops in my area are completly useless.
