I've been noticing her movement patterns are really consistent for about a week, and hten they change. Partially because I think if she flips over and kicks towards my back I won't feel a thing, I only feel if she kicks up or out.

I also think that the changing in the movements is related to growth patterns as well. I find if she gets pretty quiet for a few day I'm usually starving to death on those days and EXTREMELY tired (like, first trimester exhaustion all over again) and then once that passes and she starts moving again I feel her even more than I did before, so I think she's putting energy into growth and less energy into wiggles and stretches.

But I know what you mean- those dsays where I'm like - "hey it's bed time for me! Why aren't you moving???" they always freak me out a little bit but then she'll move somewhere else during the day/night to reassure me.

Hi. Same here. Sometimes i feel her a lot and some days just a little. Yesterday it was a LOT. It felt like she was doing acrobatics on my left side. Sometimes, i think she is stretching and touching me a little as i get an itch-like sensation. Maybe your baby is doing some subtle things that you dont feel much while you are wearing clothing and moving around so much. I just had breakfast and havent felt my little baby... but maybe I'll have little coffee and /or juice to wake her up :-)

ok, i swiched an oreo for the juice but it worked. She's moving. I'm sure your baby is just sleepiong a lot and has a lot of room to swim.

I never feel my baby after I eat- usually takes an hour or two after I eat for her to start movin'.

I also find, weirdly, that sometimes I can feel her pushing against my hand but I don't actualy feel it in my belly. Does that seem odd to anyone else? You'd think that if she's moving enough that you can feel it externally that I should be able to feel it inside, too!

Yeah, sometimes my belly feels hard and I bet she's just doing some gymnastics in there that I can't feel individually.

I never knew pregnancy would be so terrifying lol, i'm in love with this lil baby inside me that i havent even met yet i get soworried that she's ok, and no matter what ppl say they cant reassure me lol!!! so i take it the feeling fat the hardness and tightness mean she is awake and moving then?!x

That or Braxton Hicks, I think. Sometimes she moves and it seems to trigger something that makes my belly tighten up, and I THINK that feeling is a BH (i've described it to other november mama's and they say it sounds like BH). Sometimes I can tell where she is because my belly is really hard in one place where it wasn't before.

So yeah, some of it is baby moving some of it is probably BH and your uterus growing and stretching.

Part of me is head-over-heels with this little princess. The other part of me is still like "what? a baby? in my BELLY? nooooo way." Its just so surreal!

Lol! Yeah... making the baby was the fun part, for sure. I think I'm okay thinking about the labour and the delivery. I'm kind of scared about actually having a baby, you know? Being home... with a newborn. Can't quite get my head around the idea that I'm going to be a mom soon!

And it's actually soon, here, too! 16 weeks, give or take. Crazy!
