re: what are the things you didn't need for baby ?

For me it was a baby bouncer because my son liked his swing much better. He hated just being still in his bouncer. For my next baby we are gonna use a swing too!

i would never buy a wipe warmer and i used a cheap used baby bath the first 6 mths and then the bath with the shower head which is pretty worthless excpet baby girl likes to pull on it for fun -(the mesh thing that came with t for infants was totally useless becasue baby kept sliding down it--- as for the 4 oz bottles- we STILL use them for car trips because hse can hold thenm easier and rarely ever eats more than 5 -6 oz anyways even at 9 mths- they are also good to dilute juice with water because you shouldnt give more than 4 oz a juice a day anyway- and we rarely give juice at all but when we do we use the 4 oz bottles- so i dont think they are a waste at all!

Hmm.... I've always liked baby bathtubs. I set it right on the table and it works great! They only cost about $15. Then at around 6 mos. we graduate to the ring with the suction cups that you set in the big bathtub.

I've never understood why people buy changing tables though. I've always just layed a blanket down and changed him/her wherever.....

I got a Pack n Play with my older daughter and didn't like it at all! That thing was ridiculously hard for me to fold up for some reason. I much prefer the traditional, old-fashioned square playpens, though they can be a bit harder to find. To me it seems like they have more room to move around in a square than in a rectangle.

Yep, I hear ya on the bouncer. I won't be fooling with one of those again, but a swing is a MUST.
