flabby stomach after baby

so my stomach has grown so much with this pregnany......everyone i meet daily thinks im about to pop tomorrow or im having twins. and i agree.....my stomach is huge compared to most women 35 weeks..well at least in my opinion.

so im wondering since im so young maybe my skin will go back to normal afterwards? or maybe not.

what have you experienced with this kind of situation?

Everyone is different. I personally don't think age has much to do with it. I'm young and almost 3 months PP and working on getting rid of the extra skin still.

i am 2 mo. pp and my stomach is still big. i mean not HUGE, but i was 130 when i got preg at 5 foot, i had a 9 lb baby and i ended up with many stretch marks. :T i didn't get stretch marks until 39 weeks! ugh. i need to lose this stomach!

 

It will eventually shrink back down, i've had two and mine is very close to how it used to be before kids. (minus the nasty stretchies!)

Right after you have the baby you will still look like you're pregnant (like 4months).

You will be swollen for a few weeks, but if you breastfeed or if you work out after pregnancy, everything should go back to normal.

oh no!!!! you went the whole pregnancy without stretch marks and then at 39 weeks you get them. that sucks! well im with you...i have them all over now

Mine is ALMOST back to normal. I just have to stop eating junk food!

it depends. Mine did after my first but my second was huge and I developed a diastasis recti which means my muscles are split in the middle and I have a 5 inch gap when I am not prggo and my insides kind of protrude making me look 4 months preggo. So it just depends.

I'm young almost 6 months PP and I still have a little pouch.
It depends on how much water weight and fat you gained and how much you work on getting back to your normal size....very little on age if at all.

i can deal with the stretch marks......i just dont wanna have a flabby stomach for the rest of my life. i mean i live in florida...i wanna be able to go to the beach again without feeling bad about myself.
