4cm and 100% effaced.

My SIL is at this right now but they sent her home because she didnt change within the hour she was there. What should I tell her to do to get some more progress? Thanks in advance!

Try walking up and down the stairs. Sitting on the toilet is another great option. We are already programmed to relax all those muscles on the toilet. Squatting during a contraction is another way to put extra pressure on the cervix, which will help dilation.

If she goes home where she feels safe and comfortable, odds are labor will pick up just fine on its own. Walking around and being upright will probably help, but things realistically could go VERY fast from here... so I would tell her that when things pick up again she should go back in pretty quick!   *labor dust* for her, she's almost halfway done, and most the time the second half of labor is way faster than the first!  
I progressed from 4.5 to 10 cm injust over two hours with my daughter, pushed for 15 mintues and she was out!

i was told having sex witch helps dialation ,then squating like over the back of a pc chair for while helps also bring baby down ...... 

Oh trust me she did cry... . I feel so bad for her.

Wow........I was 3 cm and 70% effaced and they kept me!

Shes been there several times already but her contractions slow down when she gets there.

Well they made me keep walking around the halls of the hospital to try to get things going.

That would mean she's not in active labor yet and doesn't need to be in the hospital. Something about the environment is putting her on edge. If she's there but not contracting regularly, more harm than good will come from hospital involvement. It's really good that they sent her home.
