yea, I couldve bet money on it. I was really certain that it was cysts that I heard can cause false positives. Maybe only certain types of cysts? if theres even different kinds at all? I dunno.

I've never had any cysts. Even after my D&C, they said it would be really normal to have them, but never have. Guess thats good huh?

be careful i took a first response and it was negative i took 3 that came in the box..fmu and everythig..and i went to cvs and got my digital and some other test thats from clearblue but it was plus or minus and they were all positive..so first response didnt work for me..

she was so relieved it was a false positive. She already had 3 kids and had just had her youngest. She was going to get her tubes tied but she had complications during delivery and she had to wait, then she kept putting it off. She set up her surgery the same week she found out that was a false positive..lol

I've heard cysts can give false positives too, but it's rare and not well researched I think. I got one last week with 3 dollar store tests (bad batch I suppose). Here is the link. Look at how there are 2 very visible lines! How sad is that!?

I cant see anything on the first, and the 2nd is a green test, which is an opk

My ovaries are full of cysts from pcos, and i guarantee that pcos cannot cause false positives. hCG is caused by the embryo, not the mother. Pcos nevercauses you to produce hCG, the only hormone which gives a positive on a HPT.

ive had probs with blue dye tests. they can cause a false positve after so much time...how long after weeingon it did she look?
